Content Creator & Curator

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for content management and an interest in the creative and events industry.

Objectives for the Role

The Role

As a Part-Time Content Creator & Curator, you will be responsible for written and visual communication across our social media channels, website, newsletters and press releases. You will have a passion for coming up with new ideas for content, working collaboratively with talent across the studio to deliver engaging content across our digital platforms. You won’t hesitate to mock up visuals on Photoshop or InDesign, driving excitement for the studio’s projects through fun editorial design. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to maintain creative consistency, optimise content for search engines, manage social media accounts and analyse content performance.

 

Please note this role is based in our Studio in London, United Kingdom.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ideation & Asset creation: Work across the ideation, creation, execution and activation of social media-ready editorial content
  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the internal team to devise and implement content strategies aligned with our business goals and target audience
  • Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content generated by internal and external contributors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts, develop engaging social media campaigns, and schedule content postings to maximize reach and engagement
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor content performance using analytics tools, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Brand Voice Maintenance: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone of voice across all content channels
  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar, plan, and schedule content releases, and ensure timely delivery of content projects
  • Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging content marketing practices to enhance the agency’s content strategies
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with the agency team, including creatives, stakeholders, and project managers, to gather information and align content initiatives with ongoing projects and campaigns

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or a related role, preferably in a creative or events agency setting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud to generate content assets where needed – a level of graphic design understanding is desirable
  • Photography and videography skills in order to capture content
  • Strong creative and storytelling abilities to develop engaging content that resonates with the target audience
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to optimize content accordingly
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and experience in managing social media accounts
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple content projects simultaneously
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging content marketing practices
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of AI Technology and an interest in further developing this further

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary for this role is £40,000 per annum, calculated pro-rata with a contract of 3 days a week
  • Profit sharing bonus scheme
  • 25 days of annual leave (including one wellness day) + eight Bank Holidays (calculated pro-rata)
  • One additional day of holiday for each year worked (capped at five days) and at two years option of buying five days of holiday
  • After one year of service, use of the studio’s Margate seafront holiday property (the Clay House)

  • After five years of service: one month paid sabbatical
  • After ten years of service: three month paid sabbatical
